This reflection took place almost exactly three years since the company’s inception. We discussed Jeff’s journey from inspiration to implementation, highlighting how his leadership and the company’s core values have shaped our solutions. In addition, Jeff answers some questions about his role, the company’s evolution, and how Digitalized Software continues to lead in a competitive landscape.

What inspired you to start Digitalized Software, and how has your role evolved since the company’s inception?

“The inspiration behind starting the company was rooted in my passion for process automation and the desire to help organizations eliminate errors in distributing incoming mail. Having spent 15 years as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, I witnessed firsthand the challenges companies face with manual tasks and the inefficiencies they create.

My role has evolved from establishing the vision for Digitalized Software to actively leading a dynamic team focused on modernizing business processes. By freeing individuals from manual tasks, we empower them to add more value to their organizations.”

How do the core values of Digitalized Software influence your leadership approach and decision-making process?

“The core values of Digitalized Software are integral to my leadership approach. I believe that there is always a better way to do things, and I encourage my team to challenge the status quo and embrace new ideas. Speed is also essential; fast decision-making and responsiveness to customer needs are crucial in our industry. Recognizing that people hold the real intelligence, I strive to free them from redundant tasks, allowing their unique ideas to flourish. Teamwork is another critical value—engaging every employee drives business results. Lastly, doing the right thing, both in how we treat others and conduct business, underpins all our actions.”

Can you describe a significant challenge Digitalized Software has faced in the past three years and how the team overcame it?

“One of the significant challenges we faced was adapting to the rapidly changing work environment due to global health challenges and evolving generational expectations. Our flagship solution, Received Digital, addresses this directly by providing employees with a preview of incoming physical mail and packages online. Our application also empowers them to request specific actions from mailroom staff, increasing efficiency and productivity.

Overcoming this challenge required us to be agile, listen to customer feedback, and continuously improve our product to meet the new demands of a flexible workplace.”

What strategies does Digitalized Software employ to stay ahead in the competitive landscape?

“To stay ahead in this competitive landscape, we leverage over 20 years of software development and postal industry experience, giving us a unique perspective on modernizing legacy platforms and processes. We prioritize innovation, continually seeking ways to better our solutions.

Our strategies include investing in cutting-edge technology, fostering a culture of continual improvement, and maintaining a customer-centric approach. By understanding and anticipating the evolving needs of our customers, we ensure our solutions remain relevant and valuable.”

Customer feedback is invaluable, and we actively seek it to inform our development process. Additionally, we conduct regular market research to stay abreast of industry trends and challenges.
